“We live in the community. Our kids go to school in the community. And Shepherdstown has always been “our spot.” A favorite place for us to spend the afternoon. And being a busy family of 7, it didn’t come around often that we got the chance to all be together in our spot. So one day when passing by the café I noticed a for sale sign, I said “what can it hurt to call?” Well, 3 months later we opened the doors to our own café & deli in the heart of Shepherdstown. And now, we get to spend everyday, together, with our kids, in our spot.

It’s like a full circle. It use to be our chosen profession kept us working long hours and nights and weekends. Getting family time was nearly impossible. Now, our chosen profession has offered us the ability to be together all the time.”
